LTC Marketing Leader (B3)-
Position Purpose: The goal of the Long Term Care Marketing Leader is to develop and execute marketing strategies to implement the business initiatives in an efficient and effective manner as they relate to the product line’s core products and services- individual long term care and lined benefits solutions. The leader will manage a team of marketing professionals responsible for bringing to market marketing programs, tools, and materials that leverage the full range of marketing mediums (print, digital, interactive, advertising, PR, etc.). The position’s goals are to 1) deliver upon the sales goals of the business and 2) drive incremental sales through refined targeting and 3) develop and support the business line’s brand and positioning. This leader will be responsible for LTC Product & Services Marketing across all distribution channels.
Develop strategies required to meet the sales goals in a manner that delivers consistent, compelling, and differentiated messaging with distribution partners.
In partnership with key enterprise stakeholders, make partner and data-driven decisions in the development of high-impact marketing programs and sales tools that support the growth of incremental sales of the product line across all distribution channels.
Ensure that the team consistently reaches the highest standards of planning, collaboration, and communications with all key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Ensure that the team consistently and properly utilizes the internal processes that have been developed for marketing program and sales tools development and execution.
Develop and grow a team of marketing professionals that uses all marketing mediums effectively and efficiently.
Responsible for all budget management for the product line’s marketing activities.
Accountable for associate engagement, budget management, and timely execution of tactics.
Establish strong working relationships with other marketing teams to ensure proper planning, communication, and collaboration. This includes but is not limited to Marketing Operations, Program Marketing, Customer Insights, Analytics, Communications, and Sales Effectiveness.
Establish relationships between team and marketing leaders at key distribution partners.
Work with all stakeholders to ensure that all marketing programs and sales tools are maintained and refreshed as market, product, partner, and regulatory needs dictate.
The Marketing Leader must develop and maintain relationships with their internal partners by understanding their needs, engaging them in the strategy and tactical development process, and articulating and implementing a strategy necessary to meet the need. Internal partners include but are not limited to sales teams, product teams, operations and sales team, relationship management teams, and communications teams.
As the team leader, must lead and model the behaviors and values required of all team members to elevate the contribution of R&P Marketing and create a continuously improving work environment.
Focus on the ongoing growth and development of team members, identifying opportunities for tools, skills, and capabilities expansion.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
7-10 years marketing experience of financial services and products, preferably in Long Term Care
Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills and listening skills
Track record of creating impactful marketing campaigns and sales tools
Strategic thinker with ability to execute tactically
Ability to influence others, internally and externally
Strong relationship building skills and experience working with colleagues, producers, and partners at all levels
Ability to take initiative to create and improve processes
Ability to develop, lead, and grow a team of marketing professionals
Ability to collaborate, communicate, and plan to the highest standards
