Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Value Added Services, the Manager, Partner Marketing is responsible for managing the Value Added Service partnership business for each of the brands at Bluestem Brands Inc. This includes defining, at the brand level: the strategic approach for partnership marketing; product & service strategy; initiation and maintenance of relationships with partners; and the creation and execution of programs across multiple channels including: interactive; direct mail; and telemarketing. This position will also be responsible for developing and delivering against a new advertising business to to monetize space on our websites. This position requires an ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Credit, Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, and outside marketing partners.

Responsibilities
  • Develop product & service strategy by brand.
  • Develop and launch new Advertising business to monetize advertising space on our websites.
  • Source, implement, and manage partnerships to deliver against business goals.
  • Develop and manage to revenue & profit forecast for partner marketing programs
  • Responsible for review and approval of all marketing and customer communication/material for partnership programs.
  • Analyze and measurement of program results.
  • Participate in the testing/ validation of systems as they relate to partner programs
  • Work cross functionally with operations, IT, web teams to develop programs/ solutions that also create profitable revenue for Bluestem Brands Inc.
Required Skills Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or other business related field.
  • 5+ years of work experience related to marketing, operations, business development, and account management required.
  • Experience working with web assets and business development is preferred.
  • Experience in enhancement services business or financial services preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proven analytical ability critical.
  • Energetic and self-directed. Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly. Demonstrated ability to multi-task critical.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Direct marketing experience a plus but not necessary.
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with a variety of software applications including Excel, Power Point and Word.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ACCESS, SAS a plus.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of work experience related to marketing, operations, business development, and account management required.
  • Experience working with web assets and business development is preferred.
  • Experience in enhancement services business or financial services preferred.
