Posting Job Description This position enables seamless below-the-line retail activation with litho and perm point of sale and merchandise that delivers on the brand messaging while driving growth in channel volume, share and profit. Primary responsibility entails the management of all the aspects (e.g. Field Marketing Collaboration, Development of Final Line-ups, Item Specifications, Item Cost / Price Structure, Agency Management) in the pre-development (from ideation through production turnover) of national or local litho and permanent point-of-sale and merchandise. Collaborates directly with Brand Managers or Field Marketing Managers in the development of POS programs and tools that are aligned with Channel, Brand, and POS strategies across the entire brand portfolio. Position considered as an expert within sphere of responsibility. Position also assists in managing brewery owned POS inventory (Line-up, obsolescence management, reordering, etc.). Accountable for managing inventory balance and an annual revenue target in order to offset business costs.
Scope and impact
Manages the development of POS from ideation through production turnover.
Manages the development of the annual revenue target and corresponding pricing strategy.
Collaborates with Brand / Channel / Field Marketing in the development in POS strategies across channels and brands that link with overall POS Strategy. Optimizes the amount of items offered by integrating POS effectiveness insights, channel insights, retail insights and Distributor POS Council learnings.
Consult organization (Field and Channel Marketing) across the different functions (e.g. Specifications, Effectiveness etc.) of POS. ·
Develops relationships with key suppliers that support MillerCoors POS efforts.
Responsible for the entire final line-up (e.g. Cost / Price, Specifications, Data Worksheets) meeting process with Channel Marketing and Field Marketing for all programming.
Manages the production of material directly with agencies (Madden) and internal Procurement to ensure on time delivery within outline costs.
Proactively manages “Madden” supplier network in order to achieve cost reduction across categories.
Effectively manage the POS Revenue target through analysis and pricing/cost management. ·
Works directly with Innovation Teams in the ideation / development of innovating POS items. Preferred Qualifications Education and experience
Bachelor degree in business. 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Experienced professional (e.g. business management, supplier relationships) with solid business judgment.
Developed project management skills and routines.
Ability to prioritize “work” and meet timelines with quality.
Organizational skills are necessary to work with various departments within MillerCoors and external partners (e.g. suppliers). ·
Master’s degree preferred
Understanding of the beverage industry and 3-tier distribution system
Background in production logistics
Understanding of MillerCoors commercial planning and activation process
