Job Overview
The Marketing Manager will direct the sales marketing function designed to market and grow the revenues of the properties of the NBC Sports Ventures group.

Responsibilities
  • Lead positioning of individual properties to marketers
  • Develop persuasive marketing assets to drive demand
  • Build library of specific offerings (e.g. Title Sponsorship, Category Sponsorship)
  • Serve as a creative resource for client-specific solutions-based packaging
  • Interpret varied research resources
  • Establish library of compelling case studies
  • Attend and actively contribute in client meetings
  • Monitor client execution
  • Analyze product/service categories to source new business opportunities
  • Collaborate extensively with key internal and external stakeholders throughout sales cycle
  • Track sports marketing and competitive landscapes

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience within Sports Marketing industry in comparable roles
  • Broad understanding of, and exposure to all facets of the marketing mix
  • Diverse fluencies across the Sports Marketing/Media discipline, with particular emphasis on sponsorship, branded content, experiential marketing and TV/Digital
  • Previous experience working with properties tailored to varied demographic audiences
  • Strategic and creative thinker
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be a self-starter and quick study
