JOB SUMMARY: Develop and manage the execution of marketing plans including coordinating the marketing mix and placement within the sales plans. This position will manage product, pricing and promotion, and will also work with the development of collateral and promotional materials.

• Establish sales and marketing programs and materials to meet profitability goals
• Develop pricing, programs and product offerings necessary to achieve the sales and profit goals
• May coordinate the measurement of promotions results and rebate programs
• May be responsible for communicating press releases, program announcements, and price changes to both internal and external customers
• May set and maintain the advertising and promotion budget
• May set and maintain gross margins on products
• Develop and implement effective advertising and promotions consistent with marketing strategies
• Evaluate proposals and marketing opportunities presented by various sources
• Evaluate the effectiveness of advertising and promotions
• May negotiate terms and conditions with assigned vendors of products and/or services
• Resolve vendor issues
• Organize and direct market studies to identify pricing opportunities
• Establish and monitor pricing strategies to achieve budgetary goals
• Maintain a current understanding of the customer and competitive market position

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA - Desired minimum qualification include:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 4 years of marketing experience
• Highly organized and motivated
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of sales and marketing concepts and techniques
• Analytical skills including a good understanding of the budgeting process, cost control, price and profit dynamics, profit margin retention strategies, and statistics
• Customer service and problem solving skills
• Ethical and trustworthy
• Valid driver’s license
