This Marketing Project Manager position has the following responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Manage the planning and execution of Executive conferences and special events for Mobility executives / departments, ensuring all logistical details (room set-up, audio visual, transportation, housing and food/beverages) are planned efficiently, effectively and on time

Participate in the strategic planning process for all meetings and events to ensure continual improvement and quality service to clients

Track budgets to ensure expenses are kept within established boundaries; reconcile event billing upon completion of the event

Timely and accurate payment of all expenses associated with each project or event

Monitor timelines for multiple events; maintain full awareness of project statuses, assigned resources, issues and budget implications

Maintain calendar of events to ensure all meetings and events are managed in a timely manner

Work effectively with clients, business partners, vendors, technology and project teams, and coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams of interdepartmental members for execution of events and projects

Oversee implementation, and monitor adherence, to administrative policies and procedures

Ensure all contracts are reviewed by Legal and all other appropriate departments in a timely manner, and signed by appropriate personnel as designated by the company and with strict adherence to the business guidelines

Manage the corporate United Way / Employee Giving Campaign’s Online Auction for AT&T Mobility including soliciting auction items, photographing and uploading all items to the Mobility site; researching and developing item details; coordinating with IT to ensure site is functioning properly and accessible to all Mobility employees; troubleshoot issues with employees and IT on an as-needed basis; contacting winning bidders for payment, ensuring timely mailing of auction items to winning bidders; daily tracking auction activities and compiling final report on success of the auction

Assist in managing the United Way / Employee Giving Campaign and serve as a liaison to the AT&T Foundation on as-needed basis

Interface with external communities in the development and promotion of community and civic programs as a representative Mobility for executives in their community endeavors

Manage the Mobility Community Engagement initiatives including communicating data, sharing volunteerism opportunities, engaging employees to support the company’s sustainability and philanthropy initiatives throughout the Mobility organization to increase awareness of CE initiatives and programs and encourage participation in those programs and initiatives; serve as a liaison for employees to provide feedback to the Community Engagement team in Dallas regarding CE programs and initiative

Manage industry initiatives as an interface between CTIA’s Wireless Foundation and Mobility markets

Manage CTIA-initiated projects for Mobility executives as directed, engaging cross-functional teams as necessary depending on the project

Manage logistics and administration needs of the department as directed

Supervisory: No

Job requires availability to work some weekends and evenings; must be able to travel (approximately 20-25%)

Position is located in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
5 or more years related project management and/or corporate meeting planning experience, including managing large, complex projects while utilizing a cross-functional team to accomplish stated goals and objectives

Demonstrated exceptional organizational and planning skills; demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain responsive to client needs

Demonstrated event planning experience, including knowledge of contract negotiations, timelines, deadlines, audio-visual experience

Demonstrated ability to analyze project performance, implement project change requests and complete cost benefit analysis

Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interface directly with senior management executives and their representatives

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Experience in developing and managing budgets

Working knowledge of wireless industry initiatives particularly relating to consumer and community issues

Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple and varied priorities

Demonstrated excellence of both verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and Power Point

Ability to travel based on needs of the business

Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field of study
