POSITION SUMMARY
The Consumer Marketing Team is seeking an experienced marketing professional to work within its Individual Voluntary (IVL) segment to support member retention. The individual will be accountable for creating marketing campaigns targeted at existing members, working collaborately across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop marketing plan that identifies and prioritizes the most critical member retention opportunities and activities that provide the highest return.
  • Incorporate testing opportunities (e.g. message, media and member target) wherever possible in all marketing media to ensure optimization of the marketing spend and retention funnel.
  • Manage the sequence of events to navigate from campaign strategy to message and creative concepts, creation of specific assets (e.g. direct mail pieces, statement stuffers, member letters), production and coding, member segment selection, delivery mechanisms and finally launch events.
  • Coordinate all internal and external reviews (brand/legal/compliance, plus regulatory bodies)
  • Collaborate with internal business partners - primarily product, member experience, operations and distribution - to ensure strategies and tactics are leveraged and that milestones and calendars are in synch.
  • Develop mechanisms for capturing response and measuring effectiveness of programs; create management reports to convey results.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
  • 5+ years in acquisition and retention marketing required with some agency, digital media, marketing consulting, member operations experience desirable
  • Direct marketer with emphasis on loyalty, and retention/activation marketing
  • Understand consumer segmentation and segmented marketing to improve loyalty and retention/activation of members
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to generate campaign and program analysis and derive insights to drive business actions
  • Experienced in marketing through multiple channels: email, web, phone, direct mail, social media, mobile, advertising
  • Experience working through multiple sales channels: online, broker and direct
  • Strong communications, project management and presentation skills
  • Experience working in healthcare, insurance or financial services desired
