As the Manager of Subscriptions, you will be part of our small but growing Marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for driving and managing growth plans for subscription, retention and lifecycle marketing for the Women ’s and Men ’s businesses. Specific responsibilities include: · Develop customer plans for subscription business (including growth, retention and gifting), partnering closely with colleagues on the marketing, beauty partnership and strategy and operations teams. · Partner with marketing colleagues to design standout programs that effectively acquire, engage and activate the subscriber across channels – developing profitable, long term relationships with our customers.
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in marketing, with robust generalist knowledge that includes product marketing, CRM / loyalty, and cross-channel messaging Experience in Subscription Marketing a big plus but not required Strong analytical background - proficiency in excel, model building (consulting and SQL a plus) Tendency to rely on data to inform the right business decisions - and willingness to do what it takes to get that data Strong focus on the customer and creating a great experience at every touchpoint Entrepreneurial spirit and and uncanny abilty to find a way to bring ideas to life Multi-tasking is your middle name Laser focus on details but always maintain an eye on overarching strategic objectives and know how to drive toward the big picture. - Create best-in-class retention and winback strategies; focusing on strengthening relationship with “at risk ” user groups and highlighting value proposition of long-term membership. · Supervise key subscriber lifecycle touch-points, including first user experience, lead conversion pipeline, loyalty, and gifting; Cultivate strong cross-functional action plans with colleagues in Tech, Creative, Editorial and Logistics. · Build plans to optimize the subscriber ’s total value to Birchbox via up and cross sells to our other revenue streams, partnering closely with marketing colleagues to execute action plans against this (ie cross sell between women ’s and men ’s subscriptions) · In partnership with product management colleagues, drive product marketing for subscribers by helping to conceive, launch and measure new front-end features that impact the subscriber ’s experience. · Foster growth in the nascent men ’s business by lead major strategic growth initiative relating to branding, awareness and engagement of the men ’s vertical, including partnerships, syndication, sponsorships and paid placements.
