Assists with the preparation of the business plan. Undertakes client research. Assists in ongoing strategic planning for business unit in effort to keep marketing efforts focused. Works with Marketing Director to develop firm-wide systems, procedures and resources. Facilitates/coordinates marketing support staff meetings. Acts as liaison for internal communication of firm-wide marketing news and developments. Maintains a reporting system for marketing costs; reviews marketing performance summaries. Manages and supports proposal preparation; helps decide go/no-go decisions and strategies. Oversees maintenance of local contacts and leads database. Prepares interview teams; participates in project kick-off meetings. Develops market specific materials. Improves overall quality of marketing procedures, people and product. Attends professional organizations and conferences; builds personal network. Coordinates/participates in promotional initiatives. Oversees marketing support staff and marketing coordination efforts. Participates in hiring and evaluation of marketing support staff.


Bachelor’s degree in marketing or technical related field. Minimum 7 years experience either as an A/E professional, in marketing or sales with a professional services firm. Superior technical writing abilities. Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
