    Provide leadership, coordination and communication to ensure progressive and effective Marketing programming company-wide.
    · Plan, implement and evaluate all Cashman external/internal Marketing activities.
    · Oversee market research, assess findings and develop and present executive summary reports.
    Position Purpose:

    Assist, define, communicate and support the strategic direction of the organization and the division. Provide organizational leadership, direction and foster teamwork to ensure that the company goals of customer satisfaction, market dominance and profitability are achieved.

    Essential Functions:

    Primary:
    · Provide leadership, coordination and communication to ensure progressive and effective Marketing programming company-wide.
    · Plan, implement and evaluate all Cashman external/internal Marketing activities.
    · Oversee market research, assess findings and develop and present executive summary reports.
    · Plan, implement and evaluate all Marketing/Sales Development efforts including ongoing promotional schedule, market promotions, special events and shows.
    · Prepare, submit and manage an annual Sales Development/media co-op budget that reflects and appropriately supports the annual marketing plan.
    · Manage machine population database to achieve departmental pull-marketing strategies.
    · Manage customer database to achieve departmental and company business goals.
    · Manage corporate Internet site.
    · Manage and execute web-marketing strategy and Search Engine Optimization initiatives.
    · Manage and execute transformation of Marketing Department from primarily promotion and advertising, by adding strong pull marketing strategies, in cooperation with Caterpillar.
    · Perform all media selection with a keen eye on emerging technologies and their potential benefits.
    · Coordinate and administer public relations activities company-wide.
    · Organize, communicate and delegate responsibilities and priorities to ensure the successful operation of the department.
    · Hires talented, capable and productive people and provides a challenging environment that encourages people development.
    Secondary:
    · Provide a challenging environment that encourages self-development.
    · Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety regulations. Use all safety equipment when necessary. Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
    · Completes all administrative responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
    · Communicate and coordinate with other CAT dealerships, Western region and district offices of CAT and CAT corporate as appropriate.

    · Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures and practices.
    Position Specifications:

    Education:
    · Bachelor degree in business or related field.
    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    · Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
    Technical Training:
    · Ability to recognize and manage confidential and sensitive materials in a secure manner.
    · Knowledge of CAT equipment/components/parts.
    · Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company authorized software.
    · Strong analytical, reasoning and decision making activities.
    Experience:
    · Minimum of five (5) years experience in same or related field including two (2) years in marketing management.
    Work Environment:
    · Office environment.
    · Occasional visits to customer work site with exposure to adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust and dirt.
    · Valid Nevada Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.
    · Occasional travel, including overnight stays.
    Physical / Mental Abilities:
    · Professional attitude and appearance consistent with position and responsibilities.
    · Self-motivated and detail oriented, work with minimum supervision.
    · Stand / walk 1 – 4 hours in a day. Sit 5 – 6 hours in a day.
    · Occasionally lift 25 lbs. Must be able to occasionally bend, squat and climb.
    · Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
