Detica NetReveal is a product division within BAE Systems Detica which provides Risk, Compliance and Fraud solutions to financial services and government organisations around the world. Detica NetReveal merged with Norkom Technologies in 2011 and is now a 650+ person business unit with offices in US, Canada, Mexico, UK, Dublin, Paris, Germany, Poland, Australia & Singapore
The Detica NetReveal marketing team works closely with the global sales and propositions teams to create and deliver personalised and highly tailored account based marketing activities to our target markets. The marketing team consists of 7 people located in London and Boston and we are looking for an additional team member to join the Boston office (currently 2 people). Our department is responsible for the effective creation and delivery of a full range of marketing activities including, data management, message creation, targeted campaigns, thought leadership, newsletters, collateral development, web development & maintenance, brand management, events (third party and own events), customer/user forums, video creation, market/competitor research, internal comms, case studies, press releases, customer satisfaction surveys, analyst and press relations.
What we are looking for
An opportunity exists for an experienced B2B Marketing Executive to join a busy global team to provide focused and targeted marketing support to an expanding sales function, in particular this role will provide support to the Americas region.
The role holders responsibilities will include the creation, execution and delivery of highly targeted campaigns to support specific agreed propositions/products to support lead generation in addition to running nurturing activities for the existing customer base. The individual will work closely with colleagues in marketing, sales, business development and product teams to develop and deliver targeted and agreed blended campaigns to budget and on time which promote key propositions to specific markets and territories.
The marketing team have responsibility for the creation and delivery of measurable activities to a global market and experience of international marketing would be an advantage.
The individual would be based in the Boston office and be managed from London
Management of appropriate marketing support systems
Delivery of appropriate account based marketing plans
Work with subject matter experts to develop appropriate collateral and messaging
Manage SF.com data, ensure effective data cleaning & refreshes, provide & configure reports
Management of external agencies
Regular reporting to regions and senior teams
Copy writing, proof reading
Create & deliver internal communications
Set up send & report on campaigns
Manage sales & marketing content on intranet systems
Ensure compliance to group processes & brand
Management of event materials
Maintain appropriate financial records
Ensure appropriate MI systems are maintained and supported
The individual will be expected to have strong skills in a recognised CRM system (preferably SF.com/SF.com Enterprise Edition or Microsoft Dynamics) and email delivery system.
Proven experience in the delivery and management of targeted marketing campaigns - from data selection to delivery, on time and to budget
Experience of working with third party suppliers
Experience in the set up and delivery of events (third-party and in-house)
Excellent communication skills
Excellent proof reading and document checking skills
Ability to work within and support agreed company brand guidelines
Have worked as part of a virtual team, comfortable to work in a small team with remote support & management
Understand how to work within agreed budgets
Knowledge of company process and procedures & a demonstrable understanding of how to follow them.
Competency in Excel, Word & PPT
Good marketing experience in a B2B environment, ideally within the IT/Software industry
Awareness of account based marketing
Experience of adapting marketing messaging to American, Canadian and South American Financial Services & Government markets
Experience of s/w solutions which uncover and prevent financial crime or which manage risk
Experience of working with other languages
Good reporting skills
Experience of working with a remote team to create appropriate tailored content for collateral and/or campaigns
Global marketing experience (particularly in US, Europe and APAC)
Previous experience of working with multiple stakeholders including management, sales, product and pre sales teams
Experience of working in a large company structure
Experience of marketing to retail and investment banks, insurance and or Government organizations
Marketing experience should include some or all of; targeted campaign creation/delivery, collateral creation, customer marketing, event/webinar planning/delivery, lead generation, internal comms creation and delivery & analyst relations
