We are seeking an outgoing marketer to help evangelize our brand to our various communities - current users, potential customers, influencers, journalists and industry representatives - through online and offline channels. Being a brand champion for a social tech start-up, they should be able to eloquently and effectively tell the Dynamic Signal story while deftly handling the ins-and-outs of the social media marketing landscape.
This role is a balance between two key marketing functions. The ideal candidate with have a solid generalist marketing background but have a passion for content creation and the ability to produce top-notch creative content.
THE CONTENT PART
Through the content you dream up, plan and execute you will in effect be authoring our brand’s story to internal and external audiences.
Develop engaging, valuable and social content that will enable our sales and customer success teams and feed into our marketing efforts.
You have a proven track record of creating engaging and valuable B2B content. You are ready to share some of your previous work.
Be ready to come up with innovative content ideas and generate massive amounts of content that speaks to the employee and customer advocacy space in the form of blog posts, white papers, case studies, feature announcements, newsletters, training videos, webinars, presentations, collateral, etc.
Stay on top of hot trends in the employee and customer advocacy space, remaining plugged into what is happening in the industry.
Manage all social media communications through channels like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs and seeding content into social applications as needed.
You have experience creating a wide variety of content with a fast turnaround.
THE MARKETING GENERALIST PART
You know marketing, both online and off. You pride yourself on being metrics driven and can explain the difference between CTR, Conversion rates, Lifetime Value, ROI and Open rates, etc. You’ve worn enough hats in previous positions that you understand the complete marketing continuum. You have personally managed events, online advertising, marketing automation, email marketing, web conversions, social, etc.
Measure, analyze and evaluate both existing and potential social media activities and strategies using social media tools.
Define, develop and deliver marketing measurement to improve the ROI of marketing activities.
Deliver ongoing analytics to provide marketing and sales with insights for better decision-making.
Impact marketing objectives by managing email operations and conversion optimization strategies.
Partner with Product, Sales and Business Development teams to develop highly targeted messaging promoting white papers, webinars, field events, etc.
Support the Sales, Business Development and Support teams, providing sales enablement tools that contribute to their success.
Create customer-facing collateral such as datasheets, solution pages, white papers, customer case studies, and webinars to drive prospects through the sales funnel.
You will have a strong emphasis on measurement and analysis. Understand how your product and solutions are doing in the marketplace. Understand market trends. Understand how your tactics are working. Actively use this data to steer the tactics you use and continue using. Analytics, experiments, segmentation, and testing are your good friends.
Design and manage email campaigns to our various audiences with a keen eye for improving open and click through rates.
You have led projects from conception to closure, and have experience leveraging internal resources to get things done.
Prepare, coordinate and execute marketing programs for events including collateral creation, product demos and event-based communication programs.
Amplify event activities during and after events through social media, audio/video and other means to maximize our reach and impact.
You have written for high-tech, B2B, software or SaaS/Cloud products before and are ready to share and implement best practices on day one.
You have a BA/BS degree (MBA a plus) and at least 4-7 years experience in marketing with social media, advertising, SaaS, mobile or other cutting-edge web technology experience preferred
Strong understanding of product positioning and ability to ensure consistent messaging across all sales materials
Flawless communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate with a national sales team; comfortable with bringing abstract brainstorming ideas to concrete proposal materials
Must be a self-starter taking initiative while simultaneously being able to adapt to sudden changes, multi-task and work with minimal supervision
Results-oriented, customer driven, organized with attention to detail
Experience creating snackable content (blogs, infographics, datasheets, best practices, etc.)
Ability to travel when required
Experience with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Hubspot or other marketing automation tools a big plus
A passion for social media and a strong social following on Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin
