In this role, the Marketing Manager will work across Fossil’s Watch Station as well as owned and licensed brands, including Michele and Karl Lagerfeld. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and work collaboratively across many different teams as well as be an influencer and decision maker. Some essential responsibilities for this marketing leader include:
Assist with growing revenues and increasing market/brand awareness of assigned brands
Create, manage and execute all marketing strategies - implement tactical plans that meet and exceed company expectations
Develop unique value propositions and content targeted toward customer segments that increases brand awareness and generates new opportunities (Marketing Qualified Leads)
Develop benchmark criteria (ROI) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs
Develop integrated marketing programs across multiple markets and understanding customer insights and experiences
Represent Fossil in partnerships with outside advertising or media-related firms in the creation of Fossil customer, and product-related marketing programs
Proactively seek out and pursue marketing opportunities and external partnership/sponsorship opportunities activities that can benefit the Fossil brands
Identify, interpret and capitalize on marketing trends
Manage workflow to ensure that strategic initiatives are prioritized and allocate appropriate resource accordingly
Coach, mentor and raise the team’s ability to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession talent

Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills

6-10 years marketing experience
Consumer brands experience preferred
Experience in working with a creative agency or retail industry preferred
Understanding of sales and product life cycles
Wholesale and/or licensed marketing experience a plus
Experience in media planning fundamentals and measurement
Experience developing marketing and sales presentations using a variety of PC & MAC applications
Understanding or experience in PR a plus
Management experience (1 or more direct reports)
