The Role
The Brand Manager will work alongside the Senior Brand Manager to help drive the Mike the Knight global brand strategies, marketing plans and excellence around the world.

Responsibilities:
' Assist Senior Manager Marketing in creating global brand strategies and annual marketing plans working with global team and local partners, agents and licensees
' Work alongside Senior Brand Manager, regional business and category teams to devise marketing plans including a mix of media to drive brand awareness, engagement and loyalty across all brand products and experiences
' Ensure that all plans and execution are 'best in class' and make excellent use of global assets
' Help evaluate how to maximize and grow the brands (licensing, new business, etc.) around the world
' Have a thorough knowledge of key trends, brands and competitors' performance in all markets
' Work with other HiT global brand teams to share plans and learn of global 'best practice' in other regions
' Monitor strategies, brand health and local activity
' Help prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly brand reports
' Ensure all messages, communications, experiences and products are true to the brands, optimal and efficient
' Write and brief in creative and other projects to relevant teams
' Champion brand presence in social media and help devise digital marketing strategies
' Help facilitate information and asset flow between teams
' Attend meetings as relevant
' Manage a team of 1 brand assistant

Requirements:
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
' Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; MBA preferred
' 7+ years of brand marketing experience (or 5 years of experience with a Master's Degree)
' Emphasis in children's brand marketing a strong plus
' Proactive, self-starter with the ability to think globally
' Organized, disciplined and a strong team player
' Flexible and collaborative
' Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively under pressure and within deadlines
' Outstanding written and oral communications skills
' Excellent project management skills
' Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships
' Strong leadership skills
' Passion for brands and children's entertainment
