Role: Marketing Manager - Pleasanton, CA
You will help drive revenue for the Wholesale business
unit of MegaPath. Working closely with Marketing and
Sales executives, you will drive partner engagement and
understanding and will empower Sales through formal
tools to achieve quota.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Work with Marketing and Product leadership to drive
Sales through tools, training and direct Partner
communications
  • Develop go to market strategy to support product
launches, changes to services and key company
updates critical to business performance
  • Overall plan coordinating across functions to
integrate into all avenues of outreach - event
speaking, service provider specific messaging,
etc. to maximize Marketing effectiveness
  • Develop bulletins and collateral announcing
benefits and functionality of new products
working with Product Marketing
  • Work with Product Marketing, Sales Support and
Sales or Network Engineering to ensure effective
communication and management of changes to
service
  • Develop all communications that will drive
greater awareness of capabilities and interest
from Wholesale partner community
  • Manage Wholesale Partner Program
  • Development of key metrics of performance
  • Tracking of partners against those key metrics,
reporting out to Executives
  • Management of award distribution
  • Empower the Sales team
  • Develops/ maintains key non-pricing related
Sales tools
  • Coordinate Sales training sessions
Key Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years working experience creating marketing
communications
  • Any service provider / channel marketing experience
selling technology solutions through VAR Partners is
a plus
  • Comfort with advanced technologies: data networking,
cloud, etc. is a plus
  • Ability to liaise with partners at all levels is a
plus
  • Must possess clear communication skills, marrying
business benefit with technical functionality
  • Success factors include: individual initiative,
professionalism, partnering with sales, willingness
to learn and excellent writing skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and publishing tools
is a plus
