Mixpo is looking for a best in class marketing manager to join a first rate team in taking Mixpo to the next level. We’re looking for an athletic marketing manager – able to do all things – who will focus in particularly on provide special care and love to our treasured partners. We don’t need just CRM. We need broad and deep engaging programs. While there are commonalities, there are differences. And each of our partner are very important to us.
We’re looking for a Partner Marketing Manager who will work with our fantastic list of partners – primarily media companies and ad networks – to increase awareness and sell-through of our joint multi-screen video ad solutions. You will be the marketing focal point between Mixpo and our partners to ensure that we are taking full advantage of all joint marketing opportunities.
This will include creating compelling and well executed marketing communication programs, managing internal and external communications, creating joint collateral articulating the benefits of the solutions, creating customer success stories for sales enablement and press activities, and building strong co-marketing relationships.
In addition, you will manage Mixpo’s CRM platform and processes, ensuring that we have seamless entry points, the right audience segmentation to execute tailored messaging outreach, systematic management of permissions to communicate only to those who want to hear from us, and in the manner they prefer.
The ideal candidate will have proven ability for each of the following:
Proven passion about online media and technology.
GREAT writing skills – we’ll need a writing sample. Super important.
Superior analytical skills and business acumen – exceptional ability to conduct actionable, strategic assessments. Know when to cast a critical eye, know when not to.
Strong marketing acumen – both what you’re born with and what you learn in school or in practice. You’re as good with numbers as you are with assessment of ad creative.
A+ communication skills. You’re a fantastic story teller. Your writing is concise and compelling as are your presentations.
Able to move mountain without a complaint.
You are comfortable presenting to executive audiences and capable of simplifying assessments into consumable recommendations.
You are able to influence without friction. People love working with you.
You are able to relate to any audience and draw insights.
You have experience in B2B product management and marketing
You are optimistic. You are a creative problem solver, not an objection raiser. You’ll figure out how to move the mountain if asked.
You’re scrappy, tenacious, and resourceful yet organized.
You are creative but not off-the-wall.
You can describe a product scenario or feature such that a 1st grader would understand and find it compelling.
You are a self-starter.
You have 5+ years of online product management experience in the B2B space.
MBA a plus.
