NETGEAR is seeking a Marketing Manager to create strategy for integrated marketing campaigns and drive them in the US and globally. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing NETGEAR’s consumer marketing campaigns and communication activities including advertising, on line marketing, promotions, email marketing, Search Engine Marketing, customer community, social media and emerging media marketing. This role will team with Product Management, Channel Marketing, Support, IT and US and International Sales teams for consumer, commercial and service business units to plan, implement and track the effectiveness of NETGEAR marketing activities. This role manages external relationships including advertising agencies, freelancers, media buying agencies, content partners and other 3 rd party vendors. The position will be responsible for executing on marketing campaigns to increase company brand visibility and sales. The Marketing Manager will assist in creating meaningful database segmentation and ensuring tailored messages are created for targeted audiences across specific market segments, industries and roles. The right candidate will work closely with the marketing team to track, monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize performance, and communicate those programs to international teams to help implement across geographic regions where applicable.
Develop high impact, marketing campaigns to generate awareness and sales of NETGEAR products.
Orchestrate integrated marketing promotions across multiple marketing vehicles (online advertising, radio, video, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and other media)
Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and recommend and implement optimization to improve program effectiveness.
Build and manage database email marketing strategy
Build landing page and email content and testing strategies for sales generating campaigns.
Manage media partners to support campaign objectives
Manage day to day marketing campaign activities including establishing, updating and publishing campaigns calendar.
6+ years’ experience in marketing with strong emphasis on online marketing, search, advertising and analytics
BS in Business, Marketing or equivalent
Both advertising agency and in-house marketing experience preferred
Track record of completing successful marketing campaigns
Understanding and experience managing social media strategies and tactics preferred
Experience with Eloqua and BlueHornet is preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong project management skills and ability to perform in fast-paced and high-energy environment
