The Marketing Manager will lead the execution of marketing programs and promotions for Neiman Marcus Stores. This position will work closely with the merchant, creative, advertising and account management teams.

Though the Manager will oversee the divisions below, he/she should develop a strong understanding of ALL the divisions as he/she will be a part of brainstorming and strategy meetings in support of the NMS/NMO promotional calendar

Marketing Initiatives
Manage marketing the following marketing initiatives for the following categories:

Men's, Cosmetics/Fragrances (including Direct Mail), Gift Galleries, Restaurants,

InCircle/Perk Cards, Some Special Projects
- Vendor produced mailings within above divisions
- Externally execute incentives requiring working with external partners
- Initiate Creative Requests and job details to Account Management
- Partner with Account Management in meeting planning/scheduling in regards to Creative/Marketing process management

- Partner with key stakeholders regarding all incentives and execution (Merchants, PR, etc)


- Research, compile and manage competitive calendars and present recaps to Mktg teams
- Support the development of the NMS promotional calendar, while maintaining a general understanding of the NMO calendar and offers.

- Provide event details/calendars for Restaurants, Social Media and NMBuzz

- Coordinate online efforts/web page updates when applicable

- POS Message cadence/copy points


- Maintain budget and expenses through all promotions through partnership with Marketing/Creative Finance, VP and Director
- Setup logistics for promotions and programs
- GWP sourcing and ordering
- Maintain promotion details with Analysis/FIRST team with Assistant
- Coordinate with Communications Manager on all promotion communications
  • 5 or more years of Marketing or related business experience with a proven track record of success ; Retail experience a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and coordinate support functions for the Marketing Department
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical ability
