We are seeking a marketing professional with proven experience to increase traffic and generate leads for a SaaS product. That means optimizing our marketing efforts into an actionable plan that leads to additional sales. This new position is critical to the future growth of our company and presents a significant opportunity for the right candidate.

In this role a successful candidate will be responsible for increasing revenue and profit through improving the company’s Internet based marketing efforts, including primarily email-based and search engine based initiatives. Direct responsibility will be for implementing and improving key metrics related to traffic to the company’s on-line presence as well as lead generation and sales conversions. Analysis of site rankings, traffic, sales and ROI in order to understand and improve performance will be essential. This person will report and work side by side with the Director of Marketing ensuring all marketing campaigns are on-point and brand consistent, as well as seeking new ways to enhance site performance, sales and customer experience.

  • Website optimization for search engines using HubSpot and Wordpress
  • Optimization of email-based marketing initiatives
  • Identify and implement strategies for increasing traffic through email marketing & organic search listings without creating the risk of being blacklisted
  • Assist in layout and optimization of SEO landing pages when needed
  • Manage weekly, monthly SEO reporting (keyword rankings, traffic, conversion data)
  • Continually monitor organic search rankings to maximize traffic and sales
  • Analyze website strategies and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the strategies
  • Participate with marketing team in designing additional marketing initiatives including paid placement, content generation, webinars and industry group participation
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports related to marketing generated leads
  • Conduct research and reports on key developments and industry news
  • Keyword research using HubSpot, Google Analytics, PPC and other tools
  • Categorize, organize, and refine keyword lists and segmentation
  • 2+ years experience in online marketing, preferably doing email-based marketing and search engine optimization
  • Search engine optimization and pay-per-click experience highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience using HubSpot and Wordpress
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and overall flexibility
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment along with the ability to accept interruptions as part of the routine
  • Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
