Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI) is actively seeking a Marketing Manager . Scripps Networks Interactive is one of the leading developers of lifestyle-oriented content for television and the Internet, where on-air programming is complemented with online video, social media areas and e-commerce components on companion Web sites and broadband vertical channels. The company's media portfolio includes popular lifestyle television and Internet brands HGTV , Food Network , Travel Channel , DIY Network , Cooking Channel and country music network Great American Country (GAC) .
The Marketing Manager will work in the Consumer products area of the Home Category. This position will primarily help to maintain the HGTV HOME partnerships as it relates to marketing and promotion. The position will report to the Director of Consumer Products and will assist in exploring other opportunities as it relates to new consumer businesses. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES PERFORMED

Responsible for the product approvals for all licensing partners. Maintains the product approval process, continues to explore best practices on approvals that flow well with the existing processes of each HGTV HOME partner. Works directly with each HGTV HOME partners as well as the HGTV HOME Design Director in maintaining product sign-offs.
Responsible for the marketing approval process of all materials created by the HGTV HOME partners - from POP to ads, to booth design to consumer and trade materials. Maintains the marketing approval process, continues to explore best practices on approvals that flow well with the existing processes of each HGTV HOME partner.
Responsible for setting up and maintaining employee discounts with each HGTV HOME partner. Works with corporate communications to make sure this is communicated to our employees in a concise manner.
Works directly with the SVP of the department to maintain the monthly budget of the department.
Oversees and acts as the department liaison with the internal legal team to make sure HGTV HOME is in compliance with all SNI copyright and trademarked regulations.
Assists in day-to-day maintaining of the relationships with HGTV HOME product partners. These activities can include promotional planning, video and print production, tracking of assets, event planning and execution, photography asset creation, internal process development.
Assists in the exploration of new business opportunities that could include working with research, sales, marketing and affiliate marketing.
Assists in all event management within HGTV HOME and any experiential opportunities in association with HGTV Marketing.
Responsible for the direction of and execution of the HGTV HOME photography assets that populate hgtvhome.com, working with outside studios, photographers and the HGTV HOME Design Director.
This position reports to the Director of Marketing, Consumer Products
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
5-7 years experience in Marketing or related field, product licensing experience preferred
Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to provide creative direction and execution on multiple projects at the same time.
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral presentations and comfortable in speaking with high level business partners
Must be a self-starter and work well under time pressures
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word (knowledge of InDesign, Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator and Web design preferred)
Must have digital experience and the willingness to explore digital growth for the brand.
