The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing plans and executing projects that support the marketing strategy. This includes day to day management of all visual communication projects for the Speedo brand, with a specific focus on print, retail, packaging, digital, and other cross-departmental needs. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Creative Director and Designer in the Marketing Department to execute marketing initiatives, create and maintain project scopes, and timelines, as well as faciliate an effective workflow between the Marketing Department and all other cross-functional teams. In addition, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Manages and coordinates the execution of key marketing projects with Creative Marketing team and/or Agency, inclusive of all print, catalogs, in-store, packaging and digital
  • Ensures that all marketing communications support the brand strategy and achieves overall business goals
  • Creates and maintains project briefs, project plans, schedules and deadlines pertaining to all marketing communications
  • Reports project status on a regular basis to management and relevant cross functional teams
  • Ensures deliverables meet all requirements set forth in briefs and are completed by deadlines
  • Coordinates task management among all cross functional deaprtments
  • Cooridnates and organizes all project assets (visuals, product data, creative image hub)
  • Coordinates production of all visual assets (photo shoots, catalogs, point of sale, packaging, etc)
  • Maintains visual assset hub and coordinates all sales reps/account requests
  • Ensures that all projects are within budget parameters
  • Manages print production and buying processes

The ideal candidate will also possess:
  • 5+ years marketing experience in management of marketing communications; Agency Traffic Coordination experience a plus, OR Marketing Manager of in-house creative
  • Working knowledge of all prepress and print processes, as well as e-commerce, packaging and retail programs
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • General knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Ability to manage multiple projects; must be detail oriented and highly skilled in time management
