Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Marketing Manager position to join the Kitchenware team in the KitchenAid Small Appliances organization . Whirlpool is looking for a candidate who possesses the tenacity to successfully market innovative products. We're looking for a highly motivated person with the ability to get things done.
Day to Day (what a typical day or week look like in this role)
The marketing manager will lead all consumer marketing activities for the business unit including product packaging, point of purchase materials and displays, website content, social media and PR, advertising and communications investments.
What You Will Do
Lead the strategy, development, and execution for all marketing activities for the Kitchenware business unit
Lead go-to-market strategy for new product launches
Lead digital initiatives including CRM, online research community and development of new websites
Work closely with product managers, category managers, agencies and other KitchenAid marketing team to ensure we are going to marketing as one consistent KitchenAid brand across categories.
Manage cross functional relationships with external agencies, internal creative team, legal, safety, category managers, sales, merchandising.
Establish message priority to drive consumer messages across all touch points and align messaging priority with cross-functional process partners
Approve creative development
Product spec sheets, price sheets, product literature, and promotions
PR, events, trade shows, and social media
What You Need To Succeed
Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or related discipline. MBA strongly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing is required.
2-3 years of relevant experience in related function outside of marketing, such as product development, sales, project management, or merchandising preferred.
Proven track record of delivering extraordinary results.
Proven thought leadership capabilities, creative thinking skills, ability to drive change.
Durable goods or related consumer products experience preferred.
Experience with P&L management preferred.
Strong consumer focus.
Ability to influence and align cross functional team members to achieve a higher business result, proven ability to influence and drive results within a matrix organization.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Culinary Interest / background desirable.
Knowledge of the small appliance industry is desirable.
