Essential Functions

Operational

Catalog Product Schedule:
  • Creates and manages annual internal catalog schedule
  • Prepares and manages print project schedule, printer specifications, quotes and quote revisions
  • Provides and monitors schedule adherence of all phases of catalog production from kickoff meetings, creative meetings to online file approvals, and customer in-home dates
Print Quality:
  • Monitors quality of print against standards and final job specifications
  • Participates in monitoring effectiveness for digital and print marketing
  • Contributes to process improvement
  • Monitors catalog request process
  • Maintains and tracks catalog inventory levels
  • Monitors and executes miscellaneous catalog functions as needed
Strategic
  • Provides input and internal/external data to aid in marketing strategy and direction
  • Participates in kick-off strategy document meetings with outside consultant, analyst, merchandising, and Senior Catalog Manager
Leadership
  • Collaborates within cross functional groups across channels
  • Leads catalog production project with cross functional team
  • Proactively communicates and presents solutions and findings to marketing and other functional areas
  • Maintains relationships with third party vendors and consultants
Administrative
  • Assists in setting and revising budget/forecast for individual catalogs
  • Creates and distributes internal master catalog and individual catalog schedules
  • Gathers and distributes source codes and suffixes

Requirements:
Competencies

Education and Experience
  • Bachelors level or higher degree in Business Management, Marketing, Economics or related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in print production and catalog marketing
  • Category management and/or packaged goods experience a plus
  • Experience & knowledge of firearms industry preferred

Software:
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Stibo STEP and Data Visualization Software (Tableau) preferred
  • Exposure to direct marketing policies, audience selection, privacy and permissions, contact management and contact planning preferred
