The Retirement Marketing team leads market strategy and positioning and helps drive product penetration for retirement planning, products and services across all marketing channels and lines of business. Working throughout Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Advisors, this position within Retirement Marketing will focus on retirement planning, retirement income and annuity products to customers, prospects and employees.
Specifically this position will:
Lead and manage marketing for the retirement income strategic initiative to include marketing strategy, market research, positioning, sales readiness, sales support and promotions
Lead and manage marketing for annuity sales to advisors and their clients through market positioning, sales readiness, sales support and promotions
Develop retirement planning educational material including the Retirement University series for advisors to use in educating clients and prospects
Develop educational and support material for advisor and banker engagement to support retirement income and annuities
Develop ongoing partner relationships with the Retirement line of business; lines of business throughout Wells Fargo supporting retirement such as the Community Bank and Wells Fargo Advisors; business support partners such as Enterprise Marketing, Customer Information and Analytics, Internet Services Group, Strategy, Research, Communications and others
Manage the ongoing development of marketing material including the ongoing product and compliance reviews of new and existing material; promotional campaigns supporting sales efforts; as well as ongoing insurance of branding, value proposition and compliance standards
Basic Qualifications
6+ years marketing experience.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years financial marketing experience.
Preferred Skills
10 years of financial marketing experience with a focus on retirement, annuities and retirement income
Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on writing
Demonstrated problem resolution skills and experience
Exceptional clients servicing skills with internal as well as external partners and peers
Experience working independently as well as part of a team-based environment
