The Marketing Programs Associate will be instrumental in creating and executing marketing programs in specific business segments, participate in the creation of marketing assets and collateral, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives. Support integrated campaigns, events, Webinars, product launches and special projects as assigned.

This is a hands-on position with project management responsibilities working with product marketing, lead generation, communications, business development, graphic and web design, and vendors as required. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Global Programs.

  • Work with the Senior Manager of Global Programs to build, develop and execute a go-to-market plan for each key business segment with the overall goal of driving high quality leads to the sales team.
  • Coordinate the development and manage on an ongoing basis all marketing assets and tools such as whitepapers, demos, interactive media, promotional videos, case studies, PowerPoint presentations, advertising, infographics, micro-sites and custom mobile and traditional landing pages.
  • Perform cross-functional execution of seminars and tradeshows including program components such as planning, content, shipping, pre- and post-conference emails, and speaking opportunities, etc.
  • Manage the company‚Äôs relationships with external professional organizations and actively engage them for speaking opportunities, blogs, third party promotions, etc.
  • Contribute to the copywriting of white papers, ads, marketing emails, blogs and other communications.
  • Work with product marketing to manage the customer corner website, ensuring new assets are added on a regular basis.
  • Work with our automated email system to create, manage and distribute emails for upcoming events.
  • Work with sales to identify customers willing to do case studies, coordinate writing resources, interview, review, and the approval process.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business-to-business marketing, preferably in an enterprise software company.
  • Must be a self starter, with the ability to contribute to the creation and execution of marketing programs that produce awareness and preference for Black Duck in targeted market segments
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Strong copywriting skills required.
  • Past experience of Eloqua and Salesforce a plus.
  • Experience managing events from start to finish required.
  • Excellent project and program management skills.
  • Strong service orientation.
  • Understanding of the creative process, some creative/design expertise preferred.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
