Responsible for managing deliverables and communicating effectively with team members in the delivery of all of IU Communications’ portfolio, including video, photography, PR, digital and print products, including but not limited to websites, mobile applications, print brochures, advertisements, tablet publications, and other marketing and communications products.
The marketing project manager will focus primarily on coordinating projects and deliverables for university clients; and monitors and controls all aspects of a project, including scope, budget, schedule, and resourcing. Daily responsibilities include: interaction with clients and vendors, managing workflow (project set-up, daily schedule, deadlines, revisions, deliveries, proofing, spec and template management) and assisting staff members as needed.
The successful candidate should possess a solid understanding of print and web production processes, including web content management systems; and experience working with a project tracking system. Demonstrated knowledge of print and web technologies; and ability to monitor adherence to project estimates.
Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of project management, account representative, or related experience. Combinations of related education and experience will be considered.
