Job Title: Marketing Research Analyst
Department: Brand Asset Management
Reports To: Research Manager
Summary: Assists Research and Brand Asset Management teams in conducting and analyzing marketing research projects by performing the following duties, as assigned:
Data collection, analysis, reporting and knowledge generation through conducting secondary and primary quantitative marketing research
Analyze quantitative data through creation of data tables, cross-tabulation and charting
Lead and coordinate input sessions for research requests
Communicate with internal and external clients to understand and document research objectives
Develop research proposals based on knowledge of marketing research methodologies and
Develop questionnaires to ensure the necessary data is captured
Use survey creation software to program, launch, and monitor online research projects
Obtain information and bids from research suppliers
Maintain relationships with research suppliers
Help maintain agency staff’s awareness of research services provided
Develop and maintain research request forms, billing forms and samples of surveys, reports,
Conduct administrative research project functions, as needed (i.e. incentive distribution)
Coordinates activities between Research, Brand Asset Management, Communication Planning and other agency departments, as needed
Tracks budgets and billings for research activities

Marketing Research Experience
5 years’ marketing research experience that includes performing all aspects of quantitative marketing research projects, and quantitative data analysis required.
Ability to develop moderator guides and moderate marketing research interviews, focus groups and other qualitative sessions a strong plus.
A moderate degree of judgment and ability to work independently are required for this role.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and marketing research reports.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of internal associates, managers, and clients.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced Microsoft Office skills and knowledge.
Specifically, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel knowledge required; experience with online survey building software programs and analytics programs (SPSS) a plus.
Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university.
