Manage the marketing communications for group including all printed collateral, web marketing, advertisements, public relations, trade show support and all related marketing communications functions. Responsible for proactively developing and implementing plans/projects that positively impact the growth initiatives for multiple assigned groups. Provide client services to include program development and budget planning/management; project initiation and management; creative and production oversight (coordination, scheduling, implementation and distribution); tactical implementation of projects/programs and monitoring results.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Formulate strategic marketing communications plans for multiple assigned client groups; plan and implement projects accordingly from concept to execution to include managing all timetables, vendors, internal resources, deadlines and budgets. Develop appropriate product/services messaging that are in sync with Lithonia brand messaging. Create all job AEs.
Manages and implements full gamut of marketing communications activities for group including: sales collateral, specification/technical sheets, public relations, advertising, direct mail, sample bags, sales letters, web pages, promotions, flyers, etc. and assisting with other related programs or projects involving marketing communications expertise.
Provides direction and support for all product launches, including identifying key customer targets, determining the most successful avenues for emphasizing product's features and benefits, measuring results, controlling marketing messages so it successfully supports the established Lithonia brand, and preparing the frontline with targeted materials.
Provides direction to support resources (e.g., copy, design, web, etc.) for completion of projects. Provides creative direction with Creative Design and Brand Communications; monitors and reports on status of all projects; maintains consistency with company design standards. Executes and maintains technical communications such as sales letters and spec sheets.
Maintains current and historical job files in conjunction with Creative functions.
Assists with other department activities as needed to help with workflow.
- 6 to 8 years plus the education listed above.
- Strategic and tactical thinker that can develop and push ahead integrated marketing communications programs. Excellent writing, presentation and interpersonal/people skills as well as project management skills. Manages budget and vendors. Provides sound counsel, capable of leading discussion and presenting ideas; viewed as subject matter expert in marketing communications.
