Function as a coordinator between the field account managers, key customers (including manage PolyOne Core Sales and Market Focused Sales teams) and other disciplines (specified below) within the company to assist the marketing and business development activities for PMMA resin. This position will work closely with customers, Account Managers, Business Managers, Credit Manager and Supply Chain to address key results areas including customer forecasts and market management.
Expected domestic travel would be up to 10 percent.
1)Prepare monthly reports, sales analysis and forecasting .
2)Have direct Account Management responsibility for PolyOne's Field Sellers for both Core and Industry Sales organizations. 3)Interface with customers to maintain the PMMA responsible care initiative at all targeted accounts and manage the information database.
4)Support field sales development, including designing marketing tools to support selling activities.
5)Responsible for maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of all resin pricing in SAP.
6)Contract administrator for the PMMA Resins group, responsible maintaining the groups supply contracts within the Arkema Corporate contract database (CMS).
7)Coordinate customer complaints at the direction of the field account manager and in conjunction with each plant quality control manager.
8)Conduct market research and preliminary analysis on a regular basis for Altuglas Resin.
Minimum of BS degree in Business Administration, technical degree a plus. Strong computer skills are essential to the position with a working knowledge of SAP a plus. This is an entry-level position that will eventually lead to advancement in Marketing. Strong people skills are necessary, as is a desire to pursue a career path in marketing. This position will require significant internal and external customer interface.
