Reports To: Director Marketing Communications Key Responsibilities/Main Activities: Translate and apply the key messages of the CashStar marketing platform across a variety of channels and content formats including corporate website, newsletters, case studies, sales materials, events and conferences, industry associations and social media. Marketing Communications • Editorial calendar: Participate in creation of, and then manage implementation of, multi-channel editorial calendar • Web site: Update corporate website • Newsletter: Execute monthly email newsletters and various other email campaigns • Social: Build CashStar ’s social channels, create and distribute content, grow fans/followers and maintain high-levels of engagement Lead Generation • Events: Manage adminstration and logistical details for CashStar ’s presence at industry events Ensure lead tracking and ROI analysis Research and recommend future events • Content Marketing: Manage distribution of case studies, whitepapers, webinars Help define and manage audience segments Track and report ROI • Advertising: Manage and optimize spending and creative for digital, print, email ad campaigns (Google, LinkedIn, industry outlets) Track and report ROI Search Engine Marketing • Monitor, manage and optimize SEO campaigns to help promote retailer eGift card programs and promotions emsp; Trade Organizations • Maximize the value of CashStar ’s membership, in relevant industry associations • Manage memberships • Maintain active participation to maximize CashStar ’s visibility as a thought leader CashStar Customer Conference • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create an event that engages retailers and promotes CashStar thought leadership • Participate in content strategy and development • Execute audience generation campaign via email and potentially social channels • Track and manage registration of attendees • Maintain conference website content • Support all elements of planning and logistics Key Skills/Knowledge: • Excellent writing and communications skills • Experience in marketing communication including digital marketing, branding, advertising, public relations • Experience with content development and management with websites, blogs, email newsletters, social media, white papers, etc • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and GoogleDocs. Experience with Wordpress, Photoshop, ExactTarget, and HTML a plus • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors and agency teams as needed Typical Experience and Qualifications: • BA degree in Communications, Marketing or English • Must be self-motivated, highly organized, excellent at mult-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment • 1-4 years marketing experience.
