Role / Purpose:
The Marketing Specialist administers complex and/or multi-platform strategic sales and marketing campaigns.
Manage post-buy fulfillment of business development, multi-platform and/or other complex deals.
Handle order entry…communicating and handing off, as required, to group digital fulfillment specialist.
Coordinate the planning, implementation and status reporting of all phases of marketing campaigns.
Serve as main point of contact for all campaign related issues.
Interface with production, where needed, to ensure delivery of creative elements according to set timelines.
Identify and minimize potential problems throughout campaign and find solutions.
Compile and summarize campaign posts for client.
Create of marketing materials to be used by the sales team.
Write scripts and provide assistance with Commercial Production where needed.
Create social media projects including Facebook/Pinterest/Instagram/etc.
Write stories and teases for NBCConnecticut.com, as well as our social media platforms.
Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Must have the ability to work any of a 24 x 7 shift
Must be willing to work at the station in West Hartford, CT.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years or older.
Proficiency in TV and/or digital sales/traffic systems
Previous professional experience in television production, ad sales or marketing
Exceptional communication, project management and presentation skills.
Superior organizational skills - must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities
