The Inbound Marketing Specialist is accountable to the Associate Director of Inbound Marketing.

Responsibilities:
The Inbound Marketing Specialist will be responsible for researching, creating and sharing engaging website, blog, and social media content to support the program marketing strategies of Rasmussen College. The Inbound Marketing Specialist will learn and employ industry best practice tactics in the areas of SEO, social media, blogging, and community management to educate, engage, and entertain current and prospective students with content related to their program of study, college life, and personal and professional success. Primary goals include supporting the enrollment of new students and the retention and career placement of current students through inbound marketing tactics. This exciting and rewarding role will provide a springboard of experience to those passionate about achieving a career in online marketing.

Areas of Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and execution of content strategy on the Rasmussen.edu website and blog
Produce, curate, and/or create engaging, entertaining, and educational website and blog content to support programmatic strategies in Health Sciences and Nursing.
Research, track and acquire links from external websites to support o verall SEO strategy and program goals
Participate and foster the growth and engagement of online communities around Rasmussen College programs and schools of study through community management
Promote blog and website content through social media networks
Engage and build relationships with current students, prospective students, and key influencers in programmatic areas of study.
Monitor reputation in key areas, resolving and escalating issues to Social Media Manager as appropriate
Identify and implement strategies for increasing site traffic through organic search listings through strictly white hat SEO tactics
Partner with marketing and other college colleagues to identify opportunities and strategies for creating, optimizing and socializing organic web content
Assume role of project lead to successfully complete content-related projects with in-house and external partners
Provide support and recommendations for overall programmatic and brand strategy

Requirements:
A Bachelors degree is required, preferably in Journalism, Writing, or Marketing
Digital native with a passion for the Internet, social media and online marketing
An unquenchable thirst for learning new things and an insatiable hunger for self improvement
1-3 years experience in B2C marketing
Basic understanding of blogging and social media marketing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Ability to adapt, thrive, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong organizational, problem solving and presentation skills
A commitment to maintaining the highest degree of business and personal ethics
