As a Marketing Strategist your primary function would be to coordinate the development and delivery of member acquisition, retention, and relationship-building marketing programs.

  • Generate and implement ideas and campaigns for acquisition, retention and relationship building using targeted campaigns and other marketing avenues.
  • Utilize available data for increased member engagement.
  • Make recommendations for use of other data acquired through third parties for use in marketing efforts.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of direct marketing best practices.
  • Help develop marketing matrices to track and report efforts.
  • Competitor research and evaluation.
  • Represent the Credit Union at community events as needed.
  • Research for special projects--gathering data for recommendations.
  • Have working knowledge of Credit Union's MCIF Software.
  • Have working knowledge of Credit Union's email marketing software.

  • Qualifications:
    7-10 years experience managing marketing programs. Preferably some financial industry experience. Have strong business, analytical, and problem solving skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising or related field. Experience using marketing campaign management tools or MCIF system. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.

    A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed. Ability to analyze member needs, develop, and coordinate marketing activities to fit member needs with Credit Union products and services. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union. Team member will be asked to work extended/unique hours.

    Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.) Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc.). Some heavy lifting may be required in order to execute proper event logistics. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).
