The Marketing Manager - Technology Solutions will be responsible for identifying new opportunities to create value within Terex Aerial Work Platforms. This position will help develop next generation sales and marketing tools for mobile devices to be utilized by the sales organization. They will possess a balance of business, strategic and mobile technology expertise, and will be responsible for collaborating with the various client groups to define product roadmaps. The Marketing Manager - Technology Solutions will help clients understand the opportunities presented by technology and create actionable plans to adapt the business to exploit these opportunities. Performs, summarizes and presents research on business to facilitate a strategic sales process or an ongoing strategic services offering.
Develop creative and impactful solutions using inputs from marketing, sales, operations, and other key groups. Collaborate with business partners to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges. Seek out systems solutions (either internal or external 3rd party solutions) that can be leveraged to meet business requirements. Develop and manage direct relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the business solutions are aligned with their goals and priorities, and how process automation through IT solutions will help them reach their goals. Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and standards for obtaining solutions. Ensures scalability and international capabilities of technology. Create and maintain a cohesive, coordinated plan to deliver solutions that meet the stakeholders priorities within budgetary and product requirements. Drive the prioritization process by which decisions are made around the final project scope Demonstrate a sound understanding of how the overall business solution is positioned, deployed and supported globally. Communicate and build consensus with other groups (internal customers, vendors, external customers, senior technical/manager levels and executive management.) regarding the solution and options available to implement it. Support the sales process with Terex Aerial Work Platforms sales force in the field of mobile applications in coordination with the sales management teams. Coach, influence and educate others as to the business aspects of decisions. Maintains current knowledge of the competitive products and projects future strategies by competitors. Makes recommendations for innovative solutions to improve our short-term and long-term competitive position. Identifies opportunities for differentiation of our products and industry leadership.
5 - 7 years directly related experience and Bachelors degree in business, engineering or other directly related field. Visionary and early adopter, committed to learning and synthesizing new technologies & understanding their strategic impact Strong knowledge of market trends and innovations in technology (esp. internet, mobile, social, online advertising, tablets) industry. Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills. Ability to build trust based relationships with top level executives and across multiple customer groups.
Highly organized with strong focus on follow through and results. Can identify business issues and develop risk mitigation strategies. Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.
