The Prospect Park Alliance is currently seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to manage the website and digital marketing efforts of the organization. Reporting into the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Marketing and Communications, the Manager will be part of a five-person team, and will play a central role in the launch of a new website as well as brand identity.

Responsibilities :
Serves as Webmaster, coordinating the writing, editing and production of web content in collaboration with other Alliance staff and external partners.

Manages digital communications to a range of audiences, coordinating the design, writing, editing and scheduling of content in collaboration with Alliance staff.

Works as part of a team that oversees social media activities for the Alliance, overseeing content development and community engagement.

Manages flow of projects through the marketing and communications department.

Works with the AVP and the Creative Director to assign team members to projects, and define tasks and project needs.

Develops and oversees project timelines and schedules; working with the AVP, identifies and resolves project challenges.

Works with the AVP to develop marketing strategies, both print and online.

Utilizes analytics software to setup and monitor digital marketing activities and overall web traffic.

Works with the AVP to manage the department budget, including processing and monitoring expenses.

Ensures that all materials are in keeping with the institutional brand or sub-brands; and clearly communicate core messages and values.

Desired Qualifications :
Three to five years experience working in a marketing or communications capacity, including website management and social media marketing.

Strong attention to detail.

Superb writing and communications skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to write persuasively on issues related to the Prospect Park Alliance.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with staff at all levels, to interact with external partners, and to represent the organization to the public.

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to conduct and coordinate multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.

Familiarity with managing projects and budgets.

Knowledge of content management systems, Google Analytics, and email marketing services such as Mail Chimp or Constant Contact.

Availability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
