We are currently seeking a Marketing and Social Media Manager to join our internal Marketing and PR team. The ideal candidate has experience in digital advertising and B2B marketing. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the growth of the Direct Agents brand through trade shows, social media, speaking engagements, press releases and overall positioning within our industry. The candidate is responsible for interfacing between internal Direct Agents’ departments and outside vendors, for all marketing related initiatives. The candidate must be able to work independently, be creative and have the ability to handle multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on-going marketing communications programs and events that support and directly tie into the overall marketing strategy to recruit and retain large brand clients, both domestically and internationally
  • Develop marketing collateral projects from conception through execution including but not limited to; sales presentations and materials, support materials, press releases, case studies, award submissions, newsletters,
  • Secure speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities for executives
  • Organize client and publisher events to raise engagement and promote Direct Agents' leading role in digital marketing industry
  • Manage and oversee all company related social media marketing and help grow company social media presence
  • Perform market research on industry trends, advertising and speaking opportunities for Direct Agents
  • Help manage the Direct Agents website and develop copy where needed to improve and expand content areas
  • Contribute to overall company marketing team performance by providing innovative ways to grow the Direct Agents brand
  • Help organize and execute company presence at industry conferences and events. This will involve managing vendor relationships and overseeing logistics for each show or marketing event.
Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
  • At least 2 years of marketing experience with a media agency or related industry
  • Experience with Public Relations and writing press releases
  • Excellent written, oral communication, research and phone skills
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and planning skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of HTML a plus
  • Diligent work ethic, must be self-motivated and able to take initiative to get the job done
