Responsible for leading and coordinating all activities in the master data administration function for Europe, including leading the identification, cleanup and setup of master data in the new MDM system for Europe, ensuring timely ongoing entry of master data, maintaining accurate master data files in the MDM and related systems, and providing leadership and guidance to Europe customer service. Serve as the liaison between the Global Data team and Europe for all master data related issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as subject-matter-expert in the maintenance of master data within MDM and Galaxia. Analyze the needs of Europe and ensure that set up of master data meets the needs of the business.
Coordinate and provide analysis of ongoing master data support activities for Europe, including cleanup of current master data, development of master data upkeep processes, and timely, accurate ongoing processing of master data for the
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the master data administration function in Europe to ensure timely and accurate maintenance of master data.
Develop and ensure accuracy of applicable reports.
Oversee the maintenance of accurate records and controls related to master data for Europe.
Work with European sales force to clean existing customer hierarchies and maintain going forward to ensure accurate sales reporting. Work with global marketing to update and maintain industry coding for European customers.
Lead the roll out of the ERP system to Europe for all master data related issues.
Assist in the development of organizational structure and staffing requirements as needed in Europe.
Ensure adherence to pertinent regulatory requirements and to departmental policies, practices and procedures.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in business, management or related discipline.
Experience: Five to seven years related experience and/or training. Prior SAP experience preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Other: Knowledge of SAP preferred. Previous SAP Order to Cash experience preferred.
