Due to the continued success and strong growth of our business, Sartorius is offering an exciting and challenging opportunity as a Master Data Management Specialist within our Business Process Management unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management of the North American Headquarters’ master data, as well as aid in the implementation of SHaPE – it! After the completion of SHaPE-it!, the majority of this position will transition into a purchasing role.
What you can look forward to accomplishing -Assist in the implementation of SHaPE-it! through its completion
-Take responsibility in maintaining, releasing, and controlling master data in SAP.
-Provide procurement functions including issuing and maintaining purchase orders, and/or change orders as applicable; inventory control; expediting; back orders; develop, maintain, monitor late order list.
-Maintain and provide updates to management team on procurement reporting including open purchase orders, open requisitions, inventory levels, etc. through use of SAP.
Skills and experience that you need to bring to our company -Bachelor’s Degree in Business
-3-5 yrs experience in procurement/Material Resources Planning (MRP)
-Experience working with master data and SAP MM Applications
-Experience with inventory planning and analysis including ability to determine order quantities and buying parameters.
-Strong computer skills (MS Office, and hands on experience using ERP systems)
-Strong communication and negotiation skills
-Highly organized and able to multi-task
-Sound problem solving skills; detailed, analytical and results oriented.
-Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
-This position is located at the North American Headquarters in Bohemia, NY.
