Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires eight equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
The position requires an organized, detailed-oriented individual with good communication skills and fluency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) guidelines, experience working with major DoD acquisition programs and at least 8+ years project scheduling or related experience and a Secret security clearance are required.
The project scheduler must be exerpienced in developing and utilizing the Microsoft Project application to create the Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). The scheduler mut be familiar with EVM and the needs it places on the IMS, its organization, and its work package elements. Experience with other space flight programs is required.
We are looking for a spaceflight hardware development scheduler to create and maintain an entire project's integrated master schedule (IMS). The schedule must be delineated by work breakdown structure (WBS) elements, as well as supportable work packages. It must be structured so that a top level schedule can be "rolled-up" from the IMS for reporting to management.
Responsibilities may include schedule development, "what-if" scenarios, and analysis; risk model maintenance and analysis; EVM data analysis; analysis preparation and presentation. Work may include schedule estimating, schedule analysis, performance measurement (earned value), project forecasting and risk assessment.
