The right candidate will be responsible for entire cumulative lead time for in-house and supplier and coordinate the interface between sales, customer service, supply chain and production/operations. Core Responsibilities:
  • Develops and maintains effective master schedule for respective value stream, working within parameters of customer requirements and capacity planning.
  • Working closely with cross-functional leads, identify, plan and resolve inconsistencies and gaps between demand and supply.
  • Analyzes load of future work against anticipated and planned events with goal of “level-loading” manufacturing operations
  • Develops production schedules and monitors the MRP system for due dates for both production and materials.
  • Assigns/schedules raw materials and purchased parts to meet production and delivery requirements.
  • Communicates concerns regarding delivery date commitments between the customers, vendors, and the company.
  • Assists in coordinating/communicating production requirements within the respective Value Stream. Works closely and interfaces with Value Stream Manager and Materials Manager.
  • May assist in expediting workload through Product Lines as required to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Monitors lead times and lead time offsets in the system to reflect Lean Manufacturing and Flow principles.
  • Knowledgeable of company procedures and ensures compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills Qualifications:
  • Five plus years scheduling operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and understand and deal with the impacts of their priority decisions, meeting customer needs while protecting the interests of the company.
  • Ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies and gaps between demand and supply (forecast/customer orders vs. supply chain, shop capacity and manpower); working closely with these functional areas and Value Stream and Operations Manager(s).
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required,
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills required. Able to effectively interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of processes and machines related to products manufactured within a given value stream.

Required Experience
  • Five plus years scheduling operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • BS Degree in Management, Business, Logistics or related field.
