Under the general supervision of the program manager, the Masters Level Therapist provides therapeutic, trauma-sensitive mental health counseling services for adults, children, and families impacted by domestic violence. The position must have a strong understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse and the impacts of trauma on family dynamics and human development. This position has multiple roles within the program, such as individual counseling sessions, family sessions, crisis intervention, consultation, and facilitation of weekly support groups for school-aged youth. This position must also have the ability to work a flexible schedule certain days to accommodate therapeutic groups.
