Job Description:
Operating the vessel’s DP and navigational equipment; Control of the ballast arrangements as directed by the Chief Mate or the Master; Ensuring that the Chief Mate or the Master during Chief Mate’s absence is informed immediately of any condition or incident that arises as per standing instruction; Ensuring that no major action will be undertaken or executed without informing the Chief Mate or the Master during Chief Mate’s absence and, where applicable, the Superintendent and Chief Engineer.
Job Requirements:
You must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States. Experience as 1st Officer or 2nd Officer on a DP operated vessel – pipelay or drilling vessel highly preferred; Fluent in both verbal and written English and computer literate.
