Under supervision, assists in the operation of the Districts warehouse facilities.
Examples of Duties:
Essential Functions: Maintains stock of supplies for District personnel; issues stock and tracks inventory through perpetual inventory system; operates mobile equipment in the unloading, storage and loading of materials used in the construction, maintenance and repair of all the District's assets; loads and unloads Districts equipment; manually loads and unloads materials; cycle count inventories through perpetual inventory system, and assist in the investigation of inventory anomalies; receive material through District procurement system; occasionally be required to pick up materials using District vehicle; and performs housekeeping.
Additional Responsibilities: May perform related work as required or as delegated by Supervisors.
Training and Experience: Graduation from high school or equivalent and four years experience in general warehouse and/or industrial distribution, including the handling and storage of materials.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good knowledge of a variety of materials and supplies; ability to operate various types of material handling equipment; ability to follow written and oral instructions and to maintain records; ability to learn perpetual inventory system along with procurement system for inventory tracking, purchase order creation/receiving; ability to perform manual labor and to work under variable weather conditions .

Must possess an appropriate, valid Commercial Driver's License issued by the state in which the employee resides.
