Spectrum Plastics Group is a growing contract manufacturer of plastic injection molding products. We are currently seeking a Material Handler for our 1st shift. Our goal is to quickly turn engineering concepts into high quality products. To accomplish this, we need strong candidates to help us reach that goal.
Using the Injection or Generic work order, the material handler removes resins, inserts and miscellaneous materials from inventory and stages/prepares for assigned work orders.
Drying material to work order specification Mixing virgin resins and regrind Mixing resins with colorant/additive Operating the SPG Motan system Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise Keep dryers full for the production lines following established procedures Assist with moving product throughout the facility Check product in and out of the warehouse as needed Assist with the resin drying and distribution system Maintain appropriate resin levels for each press Entering inventory transactions accurately
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1 – 3 months related experience and/or training Proficient with using basic computer programs Must have excellent attention to detail, good math skills and be accurate with data entry Must be able to obtain a forklift license through company sponsored training & testing
