This position will be responsible for handling equipment and inventory procedure. Operation of forklift and heavy equipment experience preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Receives all shipments of grain used in the plant. Conducts testing of the grain for protein, moisture and dockage
levels prior to instructing the driver to unload.
-Operates equipment to load, unload, move, store or stack bulk materials such as; grains, ethanol, chemicals
-Moves pallets of material.
-Keeps accurate records of all material receipts.
-Unload unit grain trains by operating indexer, conveyors and dust collection systems.
-Load DDG railcars and DDG/WDG trucks.
-Load ethanol and CO2 railcars.
-Adheres to all company policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and safety
-Participates in and/or supports Emergency Response Team activities.
-The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); works near moving mechanical
parts; works in high places; fumes or airborne-particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme heat (non-weather);
risk of electrical shock.
Standing 10%, Walking 60%, sitting 30% and must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Pay starts at $14.08 and progresses to $16.35 an hour
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
1 - 2 years experience working in an industrial warehouse environment.
