Receive, inventory, store and deliver materials and supplies for internal customers.

Accountabilities:
Inventory materials and supplies.

Receive and store materials, tools and equipment.

Fill orders and/or issue equipment, tools and materials to internal customers.

Compile records of supply transactions.

Verify supplies received match requisitions and invoices.

Store and transport supplies and equipment within warehouse; may involve move or transport materials or supplies to other departments using hand or industrial truck.

Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications.

Required Education, Training, Experience or Skills:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license.

Applicants must have the ability to effectively and accurately understand, interpret, reference, evaluate, organize, and record non-technical and technical information.

Applicants must pass a typing test of 35 words per minute net. Click here to take a practice typing test.

Applicants must complete a physical agility test to be considered for an interview. If you have taken this test and failed within the last six months, you will not be eligible to apply for this position.

Preferred Education, Training, Experience or Skills:
Applicants will be trained and certified as a forklift operator.

Medical:
Employment with Union Pacific is contingent upon the successful completion of a medical examination. The medical examination includes a drug screen, a color vision exam, and a medical assessment to ensure that candidates can safely perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. In addition, the company conducts for-cause, post-accident, and random drug and alcohol testing of its employees.

Union membership initiation fee and monthly dues or assessments are required as per the collective bargaining agreement.

Probationary period can vary by collective bargaining agreement.

Work Conditions:
Must provide your own transportation.

Work is primarily performed inside, however, outside work is required.

Union Pacific operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be required to work various shifts, overtime, holidays and weekend.
