We are looking for someone to ensure efficient operations through careful coordination of Materials and Manufacturing efforts. Providing Purchasing and Manufacturing timely and accurate information with a focus on supporting production schedules and priorities to meet overall planning objectives.
RESPONSIBILITY: Lead planning activities for assigned product lines by analyzing material and production factors required to meet the Master Schedule. Schedule and monitor production activities to meet Master Schedule. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Communicating timely and accurate material or production issues that affect scheduled production activities. Review schedules to determine materials and parts requirements and ensure materials are available according to schedules. Communicate with Purchasing department to resolve potential or realized material issues / shortages. Schedule and lead required cross functional efforts to ensure that new assembly production and / or implementation of ECO changes are achievable and in line with the Master Schedule. Develop additional reporting tools to monitor successful completion of selected metrics. Works with the Material Supervisor to develop inventory strategies based on product supply needs and inventory management objectives. Prioritize and complete manufacturing schedules to meet customer order requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: Must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals of MRP, manufacturing and inventory management best practices, schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills. Attention to detail and ability to work well with teams. Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 year’s experience, or Masters with 0-1 year’s, or its equivalent. Oracle experience a must.
