Job Summary: Responsible for processing incoming products, recycling used/scrap raw materials and MRO items per the prescribed methods. Uses different types of material handling equipment necessary to complete the job required in meeting or exceeding the expectations of our internal customer. Has knowledge of a variety of practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. A degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Specific Responsibilities: Utilizes material handling equipment to complete the requirements of the job responsibilities including, but not limited to: Lift Trucks (sit-down riders, swing mast) pallet riders, pallet jacks, air hoist, dock levelers, booms, fork extension, lifts, and storage racks. Verify for accuracy or count incoming material shipments comparing items received against the against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, packing slips and other records, noting and reporting quantity discrepancies and obvious damage. Prepare and maintain records of shipping manifest, bill of lading or packing slips on all items shipped from the receiving dock to outside suppliers. Double checks for damage goods and ensures that the goods are properly packed, boxed, palletized, and identified for routing to the proper storage location or requisitioner. Provide current information to the manufacturing production planners by maintaining accurate records of goods sent to and received from outside processing, Perform daily maintenance / checklists on identified equipment per OHSA requirements. Manage material recycling functions, cleaning, sorting, testing, weighing, and documenting shipments as required. Manage the oil recycling process and the wastewater, from the parts washers. Sample testing the oil for use, after processing. Process, handle, store, and prepare used oil and contaminated absorbent products per prescribed methods in accordance with company policy and OSHA requirements for shipment to outside processor. Transports products ready for shipment from the assembly areas tot he shipping conveyors using proper material handling equipment. Manage warehouse storage operations by working with manufacturing to supply them with goods to meet production requirements. Issues, receives and stores tooling, repair parts and MRO items stocked in inventory to supply the facility. May be required to do to other functions as assigned by supervisor. Education / Experience High school graduate or equivalent 2-4 years experience in the field of related area
