We are looking for a positive, highly motivated Materials Supervisor (3-shift operation) who will lead by example to join our team in Kansas City, Kansas. TheMaterials Supervisor will work for and with the Materials Manager, Quality Team Members, and other Department Managers. The ideal candidates MUST be able to demonstrate the following: Experience Requirements: • Monitor supplier non-conformances and issue PRRs accordingly• Monitor inbound loads for timeliness• Monitor all gains and losses and react as necessary• Training of Cross Dock/CMC Clerks, Min\Max Clerks and Material Clerks• Update MGO records to keep their integrity• Supervise inventories, oversee the up keeping of visuals for each part• Oversee EWO changes• Work directly with customer Materials Department to ensure timely delivery of parts• Monitor Prod Pull• Notify appropriate personnel of changes needed• Monitor/oversee carrier claims• Oversee compliance of processes with established company policies and standards, such as property personnel practices, security, and record keeping procedure.• Provide additional duties as assigned by the Materials Manager• Involved in Multi-disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drives companys Continuous Improvement Process and Policies • Responsible for On the Job Training• Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement • Outstanding problem solving skills • Ability to effectively train employees in proper work instructions, processes, policies, and procedures • Experienced in conducting employee performance reviews • Role model in promoting the health, safety, and security of employees • Inventory control using Solarsoft • Maintain Quality audits • Maintain Floor audits • Maintain ISO Standards • Problem solving using 5 -Whys & CAPAs
