The primary purpose of this position is to perform preventive maintenance on all fleet equipment as scheduled
Perform all levels of preventive maintenance on all fleet equipment
Keep all fleet equipment on schedule for preventive maintenance
Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance performed
Perform simple basic repairs to fleet equipment– light bulbs, belts, etc.
Keep work area clean and organized
Act as backup to fueler position when needed
Other duties as assigned
Experience (Minimum Needed):
12 months experience in PM service on Class 6-8 vehicles
1 year experience to minor repair on Tractor Trailers
Specialized Knowledge Needed For Performance of Job:
DOT regulations as they relate to equipment maintenance and records
Able to operate Class 6-8 vehicles
Read, write, speak, understand English; Have own tools and tool box
Standing, lifting, gripping, pushing, pulling constantly; climbing frequently; sitting occasionally;
